Fiat's new dealership. Hyson Fiat @ Kochi

Fiat opened its first exclusive dealership on 14.02.2013 in kochi and it was Hyson Fiat. It was inaugurated by the top brass Enrico attanasio at 12.30 in the presence of all media and top fiat officials. Being the first inauguration of an exclusive FIAT dealership in Kerala the presence of media and a lot of fiat enthusiasts were prevalent.
There was also a club drive by FMC (fiat moto club) which was flagged off by the CEO to commensurate the gala opening ceremony.

Well, that's a good news. We have heard and read of news of Fiat Drifting away from Tata. Fiat brand store and now this Fiat exclusive dealership actually means that Fiat is trying to revive the business it has lost and build a brand value for itself.

What still worries me is, would Fiat be able to erect the service network to match the sales target that they are trying to attain? Service has always been grey area for them. They, in past as well as right now, have very potent models. However, the problem is the way they have projected themselves as a brand, the pricing of products and service.

I wish good luck to Fiat in this attempt at resurrection and hope that their customers will be offered that premium treatment as their products do in market.

On the second thought, what happens to the products developed by Tata with technical expertise from Fiat, like Manza, Vista etc.?

Which car / model is this? Is this by some chance the 2013 face-lifted linea , the image after this shows the same car again from a side profile - different alloys as well...

This is a really well done custom mod job of a Fiat Linea.

I have to say that I have not seen so much enthusiasm as this for a new Fiat showroom opening ceremony. Cheers to Keralafonication. They managed to get some beautiful women in sarees too.

Wonder how Mr. Attanasio dealt with the burning Cochin heat.

Well done job. Passed the link to my friend who wanted to do some job with the grill and he is bowled over.

Could anyone point me to the garage who did this job? And any special name for this grill? What should we say if we want to get this grill ?

And how many coats of paint on / in the headlamps? That's a very subtle smoking!

Enclosing more pictures of the Linea as requested. It has a custom mesh grille, 17 inch alloys, tow hook, custom lip on bumper and abarth logos. The details of the car are available at Fiat Moto Club on FB.

Those S10's are clearly a class apart, Nice to see them in pristine condition.

The exhaust note of this car is simply superb, it has a Skunk2 exhaust.

Thanks for sharing. Hope that FIAT is able to do well in Kerala where the market had gone against the grain in the past by buying FIATs.

Wishing all the best to FIAT & Hyson in their endeavor. Btw, What about RF? Will they still continue to sell FIAT? Apart from Hyson will there be any other dealer in Cochin?
