Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today inaugurated its 30th world-class showroom in India and its 2nd in the state of Karnataka in Mangalore after Audi Bengaluru. The entire Audi model range in India will be available at Audi Mangalore.

“Expansion of our network footprint is an integral pillar of our India strategy. 2013 has been a very successful year for us. We continue to grow and will be the first luxury car manufacturer in India to surpass sales of 10,000 units in a calendar year. The response to our brand and products has been remarkable and we do not want to be lacking in our efforts in any way in reaching out to Audi enthusiasts in this region. The inauguration of Audi Mangalore is yet another step in this direction. With the opening of this new showroom in Mangalore, we will be able to further strengthen our foothold in this region and consolidate our leadership position in the country. We are happy to extend our association with M/S Jubilant Motor Works Pvt. Ltd. and utilize their rich market experience to make Audi the No.1 luxury car brand in Karnataka.” said Mr. Joe King, Head-Audi India.

Located in a landmark building of Mangalore called The MAK Mall, Audi Mangalore is spread over a total area of 5500 sq. ft. With the signature Audi honeycomb aluminum facade on the exterior, and a display area that can accommodate 8 cars, Audi Mangalore will display the entire range of Audi cars available in India. Audi Mangalore will also house an Audi Shop where customers can purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise.

“We are delighted to carry forward our association with Audi in Mangalore after Chennai and Bengaluru. After Audi Bengaluru, Audi Mangalore will cater to the ever increasing demand for luxury in Karnataka. We will ensure that our customers are provided with the best luxury experience that the brand with the four rings is known for worldwide and are looking forward to contribute significantly to Audi’s growth in India,” said Mr. K. Subramaniam, CEO, Audi Mangalore and Audi Bengaluru (M/S Jubilant Motor Works Pvt. Ltd.)

Audi Mangalore will also manage the exclusive Audi service facility, located on Kuloor Junction, NH -17, Mangalore in Karnataka. This facility is spread over an area of 13,200 sq ft. and has a capacity to service 12 cars per day in a single shift on a total of 6 bays. The technicians at the facility are trained to ensure world-class services to the customers.

Good for Audi and Mangalorians. I heard they had troubles while unloading cars from truck due to lack of ramp and did some weird "stunts" to try to unload them. Any information on this?

Woah, if that is the way folks at Mangalore "Unload' a Q3, I can only imagine the Plight & Sight of a Q7 !!

I honestly hope, this was only for the Starters and they would not try these tricks going forward, which might leave the customers with a Paycheck in hand and Heart in mouth !!

re: Audi opens a showroom in Mangalore

Whats all the drama about? I fail to see how the tow truck nearly 'Destroys' an audi with its stunts.

This is quite professional as compared to what we get to see. Most of them usually use some makeshift ramp outta planks and gunny bags filled with mud/sand.

Apparently the dealer couldnt make a ramp in front of the place as the building was already constructed long back and they didnt have permission for the ramp.

Im waiting to see how the JLR guys load/unload their vehicles!

Cheers!

That was a temporary solution they came up with due to lack of ramps.
I'm sure Audi Mangalore will solve that problem soon.
Cheers
