Hyundai ASC breaks electronic tailgate feature on my Tucson during service

I sent my 2016 Hyundai Tucson for its scheduled service yesterday (2nd June 2023).

The service centre delivered my car back at the end of the day but on checking the car in front of the driver sent by the service centre we found that the electrically powered tailgate feature was not working properly anymore (the tailgate opens as expected but it does not close on clicking the button again).

They agreed to take the car back to the service center and get it checked. Today after checking the car they are saying that some expensive part needs to be replaced and that I will have to pay for it. This is not fair as I gave them the car with the tailgate working properly.

Please help as to how I can get this issue escalated to the higher ups at Hyundai.
