Indica XETA Mumbai bargains

Hi All,

Cudn't find a thread for this specific issue so am outting a question here.

I just did a test drive of Indica XETA GLX at Shaman, Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
The car came out to be exactly as we hear about it....solid ride, good engine and rev, stable and mean, good improvements inside.....but with quite tacky finishing and plastics.
Infact I immediately understood what tackey meant when I closed the door

But the issue is here....

The dealer offered me this deal.....
Car ex shw 328000/-
Insurance 12xxx/-
Reg 29xxx/-
Stamp dty 2800/-
Ext warranty (18+30 mnths) 4400/-

Loan 293000/-
Financing discount 11500/-
EMI 6800/-

Net DP 77xxx/- (with loan deal)
Dealer Disc 20000/-

Final DP 57xxx/-

-------------------And then I mentioned CNG
Kit 30000/-
Install chrg 22000/-
Disc. 18000/- (THIS IS NOT OVER AND ABOVE THE 20k MENTIONED EARLIER BUT SOME HOW IT SUBSTITUTES THE 20 k DISC.)

I asked how come the disc. is getting lowered (20 to 18k) when I buy a kit also.........????? Blank stare....

Now guys.....
1. I feel the reg charges are bloated....and who pays stamp duty???
2. CNG install charges of 22k.....Dear God....aren't they fleecing me plain???
3. If I go for a non-TATA CNG kit, warranty loss.....and THAT is pretty dangerous to do in an INDICA I am told...
It's sorely needed......!!!

Help me with some gyan and market rates.................

well here's my deal. i m not sure how it helps you but mine was very simple in terms of the value of car. i cannot add anything on the loan or cng thing but i was offered xeta glg 1.2 from om sai motors kandivli for 3.75L. i got it down to 3.46L with accessories like reverse horn, mud flaps, floor mats, leather steer cover and the teflon coating with warranty card for free. i hope this might help some way or the other. Feel free to ask me any questions.

i think Road tax is 29xxx/- not reg charges.. reg charges must be 2800/-.

Beautiful Beast XETA GLG 1.2

Hi Guys,
I recently purchased XETA GLG 1.2. I managed to bargain the teflon coating, floor mats, steering cover, reverse horn and mud flaps as a part of the package. then i decked it up with sony explode DVD player with infinity speakers, front guard, washable seat covers, sun films, door visors, white light number plates, remote locking, dash board beautification with wood appearance stickers and some minor other things that make it look beautiful.
the beast is smooth in driving only for a couple of concerns. i got it on 23rd Aug 2007. till date it has done 180 kms but it gives me an average of less than 10 kms and at times the gear shift is not so smooth. quick tips on how to handle these issues? Thanks

Mod's Note: Please post a proper Introduction to yourself, and not your ride. You will get enough opportunities to do that for your ride as well. Thread merged here.
