Navnit Motors, How good are they??

The only way to get a brand new BMW is through Navnit Motors for the south. How good are they, they say the car can be delivered in 4 months time from the date of booking.Has anybody done business through them lately?? Dont mind getting some feedbacks.

whether they are good or bad, one has no choice unless you go to Mr Choksey !

4 months cos the car will be shiped to Malatyisa/ Singapore as one consignment and rerouted to India unless you airlfited it !

they are fast and responsive. dont have a car from them. but when my uncle wanted the x5 i did call them for details. a nice detailed report of the x5 was sent to me in 3 days time. but settled for the car in uk itself. takin 4 months to get the x5 here at 65000 euros something

Do they deliver the car on time or are the chances for getting it delayed there?? Take case of X5 which they say has to be imported from the U.S to germany and from there back to India, sounds like ...hmmm!!

one of my friends got a 7 for 83 lakhs precise brand new out of the box. his driver was trained how to use the machine. That guy has the toughest job on earth protecting the car.

and my friend uses 7 series in rural areas. will try to get some pics though!

Hey CaliforniaKnight,
Navnit seems to be a very reputed dealer they have been in this business for quite some time they are authorised dealers for BMW,Rovers,Bayliners and even aircrafts !!
I guess the other option is to approach some importers if not Navnit ... it will be cheaper to import through them and i guess will also get it faster .... if you are serious about importing one,one of my friend who imports cars and can help you on this matter.
I guess its best to purchase a car from a private importer and then approach Navnit for any further asssistance (if required)..what say??

I am not very sure on the private imports since the other day when I was at Navnit, they showed me a silver color e60 which came through a private import and priced cheapr compared to what NAVNIT offered but hera this:
1> the car was stolen from AFRICA
2>Chassis number differs, number on the car matches with a 1993 3 series from DUBAI.
3> Body says 530i but the car is a 520i
and there a lot of differences in everything under the hood, Navnit says the whole car has been stripped at some point of time, somewhere in the world.
This is why I am not very keen on a private importer.

BMW have an assembly plant is South Africa which has a high car jacking rate. Additionally, lots of stolen cars come into africa

Dubai is a major clearing house for stolen cars. Lots of stolen SUVs from the UK end up in Pakistan

navnit is a dependable dealer.i got my bimmer from them and even my land rover. my friends also got their cars from them. they do a good, fast and dependable job but they are expensive....well at least more than your local friendly roadwalla mechanic(wholl take no time or responsibility to screw ur car). so u dont really have a choice. if ure importing a car, go see their sales incharge Mr. Prashant Gupte.
