According to ACI (Feb 2006), HM is launching the Outlander by the end of 2006.

Likely to only be available in 2.4l 160 bhp petrol form. No plans to stick the 2.0 diesel available in other markets into the Outlander to start with.

Is there any chance the Nativa (as it is known in the gulf), being launched in india. its in the same segment as the toyota fortuner. so its gonna be cheaper than the pajero. it looks good and is a decent off-roader. here are a few pics

Looks like the current HM strategy is price competitiveness.

all the cars are being priced below the cars in the same segment.

wonder if they can keep the quality intact.
