Is it some kind of ego or doing some kind of vengeance? Unlucky you for not buying a hyundai. They're now the 3rd best brand after Porsche and Lexus. It's not me who told this but the world renowned JD Power.

No, I meant the Verna. Isn't the Accent badged Verna in Korea?

Isnt this the same model we saw at the Autoshow?

If its the new Accent sold in N.America, I dont see a reason to buy it. The space is so less you can almost suffocate. I couldnt fit my legs in the rear. Even the interiors suck. But the boot space is big. And if they provide powerful engines then the sales can be modest.

I rate the Euro Civic the best, followed by the Civic Si or 2 door coupe and then the sedan. Hey devarshi, isn't the civic already looking outdated now. It's been on sale for just a few months and all the futuristic looks went into thin air in just few months. Noone gives the civic a second glance nowadays.

You are right in a way. Civic doesnt really infuse any excitement anymore in US. especially against Nissan and Mazda. The A-pillar and the dual-dials are a sure recipe of Disaster. I dont think the later will be carried to India. Anybody got any ideas on this one?

But yes the civic is Europe is more exciting. The Euro Civic hatch at 7-8 lacs can still kill the competing brands.

BTW while hyundai ads claim to be best-selling cars, I hardly see any on the road here.

I could not say the car looked cool rockin or anything...It looked 2 me as though it waz under crash diet 2 reduce dimensions....

I think i saw the D version.....The engine made an amazing noise....I tryed 2 catch up and get a photo but the car waz damm fast....I saw the car again when i got my car fuelled at Indian Oil near Radisson...It just left the bunk.......Bad Luck damm

May be some1 else might get a pic of it.....

I hope the new Verna Crdi is torquier than the accent crdi.that would be yumm. And do sincerely hope that they have done something about the rear seat. After a dose of 6 hours in a honda city rear seat, accent's rear seat comfort is on an all time low on my wish list.

Although Hyundai would love to do a maruti or a skoda by plonking in Verna above the current accent,I dont think they will do that.Because plonking Verna in any territory above accent will kill elantra.
