This looks seriously bland and dull. Not looking forward to seeing it without covers at all. :P

The Xylo even after the controversial styling and the front tooth looks striking. This resembles the rather unexciting Chevy MPV.

There are a lot of similarities at the rear -tail lamps, number plate area, bumper etc.

+1 to that, even rear windshield's lower bottom side is exactly curvy in the picture posted as scoop.
The testing vehicle seems to be a lower base version with cheap looking plastic bumper.
From rear position any layman would mistake it for Xylo. I wonder what was the designing team was thinking on drawing board. Probably they would have not seen Xylo from rear or they might have been inspired by the same

If it is GJ17, it's chevy. I have seen optras and taveras testing around baroda, halol and ahmedabad in past. Last week I saw two 'new' taveras testing on ahmedabad ring road.

Probably these vehicles are testing since long before auto expo, hence the cover. They haven't bothered removing it now.

This is definetly the GM Wuling MPV. It will be badged as a Chevrolet and sold in india.

This is Chevy's Innova competitor.

This is the new MUV from Chevrolet. I am surprised that Chevrolet is already testing the MUV. I hope they give a good name to this product.

The MUV looked so much better in the pics from the Auto Expo. In reality, the MUV looks terribly under-tyred and boring. I am not sure what strategy Chevy has in mind for this product. This cannot compete against the Innova but might compete against the Tata Winger.

Seems as if Chevrolet has started testing their MPV. They would be considering the launch anytime soon now as the competitions has grown up.

Looks like the Chevy indeed. Remember the MPV is a product of Wuling-SAIC-GM JV in China. The gentlemen could be Chinese from Wuling.

On a side note, Wuling is known in China for very cheap not so high quality vehicles. Not sure how this will turn out in India.

GJ means Chevy and it is unmistakably the same as in the Expo. So competition is hotting up out there in the MPV-scape.
