SAAB is a known brand in Europe, folks recognize the name. That has a lot of value that Tata can benefit from. It would cost a lot of money to build that kind of brand and recall, and this would probably give Tata an entry point into that segment in Europe without too much investment. A rejuvenated Saab will definitely get some market share.

They could also get the cars for the India market, given how Tata Motors seems to be struggling in the consumer market.

Not sure if you read the posts carefully enough! SAAB was bought by NEVS and not Tata Motors.
