Re. the pricing - UK discount prices range from around GBP 20000 for 2wd to 26,000 for topend AWD with powershift. So in all probality you will get pricing of 20L to 28L unless Ford does local assly. & localises minor items like Battery, Tyres, Glass etc. Most unlikely. So another high priced import with 2 digit sales!! |

You would do better with the Q3 as product for product it is a far better offering than the X1 currently. .............. Question is, who do you want to listen to, other than your own heart and head! |

guys, as per CONFIRMED inputs (my inputs on ford have been spot on till date :D) the Kuga is a certainty for india and will be a CKD to start with and based on the demand, may move to manufacturing too. so expect very competitive pricing (hint- there is a wide gap between the XUV and the fortuner) Ford's plan is to make india the hub for small SUV manufacture for south east Asia and Africa. |

Great news if ford is going to launch the kuga here in India.Based on the link given by the OP it seems it is the 2011 kuga that will be launched, not the US based Escape (basically the 2013 kuga!!) Why is ford launching an older model instead of the latest??Escape to Europe: Ford Kuga Unveiled for the Continent [Geneva Auto Show] Does ford plan on selling this older kuga to India and Africa while Europe/US enjoy the new one!! If they are gonna launch the older Kuga then it should be priced in the range of the XUV to justify this treatment!lol: |

The link given is just an indication. OP can clarify if that was the old Kuga or the 2013 Kuga. Based on the new "One Ford" strategy, ford should be launching the latest and the same models everywhere in the world. So, I doubt if they'll bring the old model in India while rest of the world get the new one. If that's their strategy, they would have launched the old generation EcoSport here thereby bringing down cost. |

The 2013 kuga is bigger than the yeti and slightly smaller than the XUV 500 so if priced around 11.5 to 14 lakhs, will see it fly of the showroom even though its a five seater! Hopefully we can get some more info from the OP |
