Purely in terms of Fun-to-drive, it will be TSI. It is too tempting to put it in S mode and floor the accelerator. I just loved the car. TDI is powerful, no doubt, but TSI scores on FTD.

Can you please mention if it comes with ESP like the TSI ? Great that you were able to TD the car,looks like the launch is only a few days away. Pricing still remains unknown.
Mods: Will we get a review just like how we got one for the TSI ? If yes,eagerly looking forward to it :)

I am third time mentioning the pricing. It is 9.13 lakhs on road pune. :) and i am not too sure, but there is no esp in gtd polo

I thought that was the TSI's pricing. If its the GT TDI you mention, what's the price of the TSI in Pune ?

Tsi is 9.11 on road in pune. But in TSI you get ESP, HILL HOLD,DSG. However as far as i know in GTD there is no esp and it is manual. So the only thing you get in gtd is the power of 105 ps and better milage than TSI.

That's good pricing. You are right about the TSI, if one overlooks the fact that its a petrol its a VFM proposition at similar price point.
If the Polo GTD is launched with the Vento engine then with a remap...It should be faster than most cars like the rapid, Laura tsi given the power to weight ratio.
Polo tsi is priced at 9.7 on road blore, so GTD is 9.75? That's a great pricing strategy.
Look forward to the launch.

Since 1.6 TDI is a 4 pot engine, is it safe to say it will be far smoother, more silent & cause fewer vibrations than the present diesel engine of Polo?
How was the NVH compared to current Polo?

I think he means the pedals (on the floor), not the paddles (on the steering).

I feel that it is wrong on Volkswagen's part to deliver a car even before they have officially launched it or even before officially announcing the launch date :(

The pune pricing of new polo GTD :)
I think that is decent pricing and in lines or even better than what everyone was anticipating. Need to take a TD of this little rocket. It might be the perfect car to complete my garage. :)
Looking at the above Pune prices I am guessing it should be around 8.5L OTR Delhi.
