Should public transport be privatised??

Many things need to be privatized in India: Electricity, Water Supply and sewage, Railways, Transport, etc all these Govt enterprises are loaded with lumpen elements, mazdoor unions, with their bloated employee list with 10 employs to turn the screw half turn and another 10 anticlockwise, employees to unload and reload the cargo, etc. Half the budget goes to paying salary and wages for this 'bloatware'. Because of these unions and bloatware: safety, progress, hygiene and passenger comfort takes a back seat.
