Hyundai sales

People,

Recently - when I'd gone to take delivery of my Swift, I overheard some adjacent customer saying that Hyundai's overall sales numbers have declined over the last year - and this nervousness drove him to a Maruti.

Have any of you heard any rumblings about Hyundai India as well? BVR Subbu - their prolific ex-Prez left citing some "irreconcilable differences with Korean management", I believe.

I just hope Hyundai India is not sliding - that would be very sad indeed for a company thats probably next to Maruti in the Indian car buyer's mind.

How could this be? The Santro is selling so well. (or maybe someone has been making up figures)
