Re: Hyundai to unveil i15 in India

Will it have the 1.1 crde engine? If so, this might become the most fuel efficient diesel in India!

Re: Hyundai to unveil i15 in India

I think this is the one which was in news and being discussed as 2014 i10 in Indonesia. The press had given one of the reason of naming it as i10 was the popularity of the i series in India. Hence since both i10 and this will be kept in the market, this one logically would be i15. Looking at the photos here, I think the market can absorb both of them.
Any idea what is the difference between the i series and the iX series ? I saw ix35 similar to new Santa Fe in streets of Africa. Lot more bigger than any of the i series that we have seen here.

Re: Hyundai to unveil i15 in India

Is this the HB20 in Brazil?
Hyundai global site on HB20 -http://worldwide.hyundai.com/WW/Show...PIP/index.html

Looks similar to me.
A good 360 view in youtube of the 1.6 version of the car-

In terms of dimensions this seems to be slightly smaller than i20-

scoop hyundai i15

Spotted this Hyundai car on the way to office today. It was on it's way to Advaith Hyundai dealership near Graphite India in Whitefield.

Not sure which car is this, maybe i15?!

How do you know it's a Hyundai?Did you follow it to the dealership?
If that's the case,it is the i15.
The tail lamps look like the ones on BMW 1 series,a departure from Hyundai's current fluidic styling

Re: scoop hyundai i15

Excellent scoop Asethi. I can see the Hyundai logo as well as the Advaith Hyundai temp regn sticker.

This is the first time we can see the rear of the i15. The camouflaged cars had the big plastic bulge which hid all rear design elements.

Though not clear in the pic, the Hyundai logo was clearly visible through the white sheet covering it. Plus see the Advaith Hyundai sticker on the number plate, and I was behind it till just 50m from the service center, where we parted out ways.

Great catch, asethi! Indeed, these are the first scoop pictures without the heavy rear camouflaging of the earlier test mules. If it carried a dealer sticker, then we are very, very close to the launch, I believe.

Any idea about the wheel size? Or diesel clatter from the engine?

Thanks for sharing the photos!

Due to heavy traffic, I was unable to overtake this guy - so no idea about any of these.

Great catch. Even I can see the Advaith Hyundai sticker. It looks smaller than the i20 but larger than the i10. And, what about that event you guys told about? Has it already been done and dusted or is it going to happen in the future?

Thanks for sharing, definitely will be a boon for me as I am looking for an petrol AT hatch.

Cheers,

Achyuth

It definitely looks PUNY compared to the wagonR beside it. Interior space will certainly not be its selling point.

Re: Hyundai i15 (or Next Gen i10)

So, Hyundai has decided to badge the "Project BA" car the "i10 Grand".

It will be positioned between the i10 & i20, and the current i10 will be sold alongside it.

We got a behind the scenes preview of the car. Report : link
