VW Vento has also introduced similar packages though for a 3 year plan.
- free 3 years comprehensive insurance
- free 3 years AMC (annual maintenance costs - Service, consumables and labour)
- free 3rd year warranty
- free 3 year RSA (VW not insurance company provided)

I'm very very surprised. Doesn't the advert and the Skoda website clearly say 5 years finance @ 7.99%? How can they claim it's for 3 years? Shouldn't you be questioning the dealers, or am I missing something here?

Another misleading ad to draw people to the showroom?!

Above offer is applicable only if a customer opts for a finance from VW with an interest rate of approx 11% for a 3 year loan.

Sales Executive said 7.99% is for 3 years on a reducing basic (not flat).
When asked for 5 year tenure, he said it will be higher but did not give me exact figure.

PMS includes labour and parts but remember its not free. You will be charged an amount of approx 600 in monthly EMI's.

Re: Skoda launches "5X5 Experience" for the Rapid sedan

Has anyone gone to the showroom and worked out the EMI per month including these 5 parts of the package (extra's for PMS, Insurance, etc) ?

I would like to know EMI of any of the Rapid models. Frankly Leisure AT looks like a much better option compared to the EcoSport AT with this offer - if EMI per month hits the sweet spot !

Looking forward to someone who took a quote from a Skoda showroom to share some numbers here.

The rapid now gets the new Skoda Logos, polo/vento Highline gloss black trim and the New Octavia family steering wheel, with chrome accents. Looks nice.

Re: Skoda launches "5X5 Experience" for the Rapid sedan

Had enquired about the 5x5 offer with both the dealers(TAFE and Vinayak) in Bangalore.

TAFE never bothered to call me back! Lolz...

Vinayak Skoda were atleast kind enough to send their SA with the latest Price list and an outdated Brochure with an even outdated TD car (MY 2012). The SA was hesitant to explain the 5x5 offer, however after asking atleast 5 times, he told me that the ROI is 7.99% for a five year finance from Skoda Finance. However we need to pay an additional INR 600/- for the PMS+RSA+EW for a period of 3 years only. He also told that he can give me better offers provided I visit the showroom ( I am hearing this for the first time from any dealer). As the car was a very out dated one, I skipped the TD and told the SA that I will decide and let him know. (By the way the SA was more interested to find out if there were any openings for freshers in my Company so that his friend can apply for the same!)

Anyways I am seriously impressed with Skoda Rapid but looks like the dealers are that keen in selling Rapids. I had got the confidence to check out and consider the car after reading positive reviews from the owners ( I am sure they have received good service).

As of now I am in wait and watch mode ( with respect to Skoda)!
