Re: Average Sales / Dealership : Indian Car Manufacturers

I have a question. How do premium bike dealerships survive with so low sales? For example, Kawasaki, Indian, Ducati and Triumph?

Triumph sells around 1,200 bikes per year in India through I think 20 dealerships. That is an average of 60 bikes a year, or just 5 a month! Of-course, some dealerships will be selling more, some even less than that.

Ducati sells half the number of bikes, through half the number of showrooms.

I understand that the size of an average superbike showroom is smaller than a Nexa or a Audi showroom, but still, recouping the costs must be tough.
