^^ On selecting the news section an Excel sheet is downloaded with template for mentioning 'Name of institution', 'Name of student'. So I guess this is only for students.

Great initiative, but, the TOI report says that ARAI will open its doors to the public to create interest in youngsters about the automobile industry.
The ARAI website says that Indian citizens over the age of 25 years will be allowed to visit.
Don't youngsters start shaping their careers a lot earlier than the age of 25?

Make sure you clicked correct link, I got a MS Word docx. Along with Institute/College there is also Company visitor belongs. I think it's just for their information which walk of life people are more interested to visit their facility. May help them in planning future events/visits.

Should have at the least lower it to 18.

Age limit of 25: I think it has to do with Safety. Considering their first such initiative, seems they wants to play safe initially.
