ACMA Automechanika New Delhi: February 26 - March 1, 2015

The ACMA Automechanika New Delhi will be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from February 26 to March 1 2015.

At Automechanika, the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) along with Messe Frankfurt has decided to address the problem of counterfeit automotive spare parts in the country. The aim of the show to help automotive component and aftermarket professionals to identify and differentiate between genuine and counterfeit products, make new connections, understand product developments and move forward with better business prospects.

Participants include ANG Industries, Luk India, Setco Automotive Ltd., Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd., and ZF India. Ample Auto Tech Pvt. Ltd., Elofic Industries, Mayur Uniquoters, Mansons International Pvt. Ltd., Sigma Corporation India Ltd and Delphi Automotive Systems Pvt. Ltd. will showcase their products as well.

Additionally, a series of conferences are also expected to be held. These conferences will be open for sector professionals and the discussions will focus on themes of R&D and innovation, advancements in mechatronic systems, simulation and testing systems, sustainable mobility, fuel efficiency, etc.

According to the organisers, about 85% of the exhibition space is officially booked.

Please note that the fair is only open to trade visitors. Access is not available to private visitors.

The 2nd edition of ACMA Automechanika New Delhi has drawn to a close after attracting around 12,861 business visitors from India and overseas. The exhibition featured a total of 436 exhibiting companies from India, Brazil, China, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, the UAE, the UK and the USA.

The event played host to showcases of the latest products in mobility and vehicle maintenance, and also saw multiple exhibitors and trade visitors closing business deals.

Additional programs included ACMA’s ‘Asli Naqli’ Pavilion and Messe Frankfurt’s ‘Against Copying’ campaign, that highlighted the problems brought about by the usage of fake components.

The first ACMA Global MSME Summit was also conducted this year, which focused on the Make In India campaign. Apart from focusing on the role of Indian small and medium enterprises, the session also provided an opportunity to understand business openings in adjacent industries like off-highway vehicles, urban transport systems, defense indigenization and agricultural machinery.

The next edition of ACMA Automechanika, will be held in February 2017.
