I got some details on the motoroids website.

Some points I noted from that site:

• Its not that same 2-cylinder 624cc engine that we find on road nanos
• its a 4 inline 1.3ltrs cylinders mill developed by J.A.Motorsports
• 230hp@10000rpm
• 190Nm@8500rpm
• 0-100Kmph in under 6seconds
• Its speed has been restricted at 160kmph
• Its not Street legal
• Upgraded suspension and braking system
• Negatively cambered MRF Z.LO Tyres
• Roll-caged interior
• Recaro bucket seats
• Race steering with paddle shifts
• six speed race transmission

Just got back from the show, totally avoidable. Hardly anything worth seeing. Of course there's the lambo and Bentley stands along with BMW and Mercedes but thats about it..
No tuners or after market presence at the show.
The show used to be much bigger a few years ago with ample aftermarket stalls and goodies, but nothing in this years show.
Even the gadget show had nothing worth seeing. Will share some pics in the evening.

Been to the AutoCar Performance Show today evening.

Number of international motorcycle brands have increased as compared to the last year.

Triumph and Benelli showcased most of their models.
No Honda, Bajaj or TVS.
Kawasaki Z1000 was seen, but it wasn't representing the brand.
Rather it was in the gadget show.

Not much increase in the car brands.
Porsche was missing.
Lamborghini only had the Huraccan on display.
(Aventador and Gallardo were with Autocar and Big boys toys.)

Loved the Safari.

Clicked only a few photographs.

Visited the show on Sunday. Feared long queues at the ticket counter hence booked it on bookmyshow while leaving from home. Can overall rate it an average 2.5/5.

Apart from the Aventador which is everyone's favourite, two of my favourites, the mighty GTR and FF were there. And the cars parked alongside the GTR (except the Aventador maybe) had "YZP" on the number plate; that's the family of a BHP-ian isn't it?

Drove as 'Vettel' in the Red-Bull F1 simulator Got to hear the Daytona and 1 of the Benelli's sound, were good. Also on display at one of the stalls was a turbocharged ZX-14R, which according to the guy at that stall produced 300HP. I learnt this after asking him, so before that, I inquired if it was Ricky Gadson's cuz it looked quite the deal and had couple of performance mods. On this he told me that it wasn't his but they had done Ricky's ZX-14R as well(is this true?) and also told me that Ricky has got himself a new Kawasaki H2 and maybe this time at Valley Run he will be using this ZX-14R.

However the highlight of my visit was the entry into the "Moto GP" stall which housed several SBKs; 2 Fireblades, a Busa, an R1, a CB1000R and a Goldwing. First time in my life I got to rev a Busa and a Ceeber . Both Ceebers and the Busa had aftermarket exhaust. While one of the Ceebers had Racefit, I couldn't recognize the ones on the other Ceeber and the Busa. A kind of rev-battle was staged between the Busa and this Ceeber(with the unknown silencer). AND, the Ceeber just annihilated the Busa in the sound department. One of the loudest SBK exhausts I've heard till date. I reckon, it was even louder than the Racefit. Will post the video tomorrow.

P.S. The silencer in the above mentioned Ceeber ended under the taillight, rather than on the side. Now I don't know much in this dept., but I am assuming that there 'might' not be many exhausts with such "ending under the taillight" setups available and only 1-2 such exhaust systems might be available in the market. Hence mentioning it, if someone can enlighten me as to which one it was.

What is the purpose of showcasing cars like the Ladakh Storme? Unlike Mahindra, which displays customized vehicles that anyone can buy, Tata showcases a modded version that is not available for sale.

Are they trying to show-off their mod abilities or genuinely trying to get people interested in Ladakh editions of Storme?

I went to the Autocar show on Sunday evening. While the exotic metal on display was gorgeous, the mass manufacturers just didn't use this show for any of their upcoming products. I'll put that down to a wasted opportunity on their part to whip up some hype.
The after market vendors which I had bought quite a bit of stuff from a few years back were also largely absent.
Overall, a decent show for the exotic cars, Mahindra expereince, the Maruti races and renewing Autocar subscriptions!

Kudos to Tushar and "The Great" for taking detailed pics. When did you guys visit, there's no crowd in your pics at all.

This 14r is not Rickey's nor was the earlier one. However it was surely tuned as per the setup required by 7th gear customs. The turbo 14r is owned by one of TVR 2015's participant & is prepped specifically for the Drag. H2 is currently no match for this turbocharged 14R - India's 1st and only one.
