SX4 diesel which is heavier than brezza by around 60kgs with same engine does 0-100 in 13.3 seconds(Autocar magazine).

Just more than a few hours for the launch, bookings open for Vitara Brezza !
Overwhelming response before launch ( seems they have converted earlier bookings taken un-officially) Prices rumored to undercut Ecosport substantially (~ 1 L)
Have got calls from dealers for the bookings! And they claim to have 100+ already
Whatever pricing strategy MS might have had in mind (& people like us, for that matter) would have taken a 2.5% hit due to the additional diesel cess.
It sounds small but would translate into an overall 20k-30k rise in the on-road price. And the ZDi+ which was hovering around 10L mark to begin with will get dearer by an additional 1% if it indeed crosses that mark.
And in times like these, that SHVS badge would have sounded a whole lot better :)
I just did the booking as well. Booking amount paid 11k.

Interesting Pricing. The ZDi+ may cross 10L Ex-Showroom in lot of places. Does under cut the Ecosport by a good margin
Q&A: - Questions on Supply, Availability of Automatics: No clear answers.
- Why only diesels when Supreme Court and other agencies are not in favor of diesel: Again, no clear answer. We will always meet the norms prescribed.
- Why no SHVS in the Brezza: Focus on the Ciaz and Ertiga. Education and Awareness on the capability before bringing it in other models.
- Question on volumes: Target is to capture No 1 in the Segment (That should be easy :) )
