Voted for the Vitara Brezza !!

The whole package seems to be made for a blockbuster. Well designed, good seating capacity, funky colors, good specs - it seems to have all the ingredients for success.

Thanks for adding Mahindra XUV Aero in the poll. Voted for it. The natural upgrade for the existing XUV 500 owners subject to many ifs, buts and provideds.

Tiguan it is for me! I have been smitten by the new Passat since it was launched in international markets and it was a tight decision between the two. The proportionate lines for Tiguan just nudged ahead. How I loved these two cars and I hope to buy one of them come 2017.

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

Voted for Mahindra XUV Aero. IMO its a great effort and who knows it may spawn a new segment of "Affordable" crossovers and can give indian consumers a taste of owning an SUV and a sedan at the same time.

Design wise, the effort is commendable but having said that Mahindra has always been keen on overdoing some bits like the grille and some how not making the front match the back aesthetically. They are almost there.

Chevy Beat looks terrific as well. Boy oh boy we have some cool cars coming our way this year

If Tata does not manage to launch the nexon quickly, I am bringing the Brezza home as my next car (as soon as it comes with the boosterjet that is ) . Voted for the nexon

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

I 've voted for the kite5 CS from TATA. I love rear how the windshield and boot have been integrated with c-pillars. My suggestion to TATA is launch a sportier version with dual tone body colors with beefed up wheel arches.

Being a current STORME owner, I liked the Hexa too. TATA designs are mostly are eye soothing(kindly do not imagine sumo/indigo marina).

Kite 5 - WoW!! The best looking sub4 m car right now. May be a loud wow as it is from Tata stable. Match it with good marketing and ASS, you are ready to launch Tata.

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

Voted for the Nexon for its originality, futuristic and bold style.
My favourite ones are as follows:--
1. TATA Nexon- For its design attributes mentioned above
2. TATA Kite5 - For its balanced , pleasing and modern design
3. TATA Hexa- For its pleasing and modern design.

I appreciate the design initiative of TATA motors and wish all these cars become commercially successful.

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

Well, looks like TATA cars are going to make a clean sweep in this poll with their 3 cars in the Top 4. Hope that people who are voting for TATA cars will vote with their wallets too when it comes to buying.

Its not new that the TATA cars lead in the T-BHP polls - remember Zest won COTY award in '14 and Nano in inaugural '09 COTY award, but they failed in the market. Hope atleast '16 will turn out to be a good year for TATA with almost all their cars looks blockbuster material - oh wait they are yet to be launched.

BTW, I have voted for a TATA too - Nexon .

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

Got to be Nexon, just Wow! Kite Sedan would be next. Looks like TATA would be the king of sub 4m if they market and price them right. Go TATA, Go!

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

Nexon all the way! I am pretty sure the launch model won't be this loud. For me, Tata has stolen the show with Kite 5, Nexon and Hexa. Launch them all already!

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

Nexon looks like a taxi. (May be due to color combination) Of course looks are subjective. Perception, one's own.

Going by the products and service bundles dolled out by Tata's in the past decades and the market response to the new Tata cars last year, not very convinced of success for Nexon.

Being an Indian product, want atleast one of the Tata passenger cars to do well this year.

Wishing a new beginning for the Tatas.

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

Voted for the Innova Crysta due to the brilliant passenger friendly features they have added in an already comfortable car along with the 2.8 engine on offer. Add to it an automatic version, IMO this again is a clear segment leader. Yes I criticise Toyota for skipping the safety features and pricing the cars at a premium. End of the day I will prefer a Toyota for its renowned bullet proof reliability, simply unparalleled!

XUV aero an an interesting concept, X6'ish to look at but the claimed power figures make it drool worthy. VW Ameo looks promising, will build volumes for the company.

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

The star of this Auto expo seems to be TATA !!
3 of their cars ( 2 of them production ready ) have got majority of votes
seems like a good effort by tata. hope this is the turning point for the company.

Now tata have good designs- so apart of the job is done
if only they give them decent reliability, fix ASS and price cars sensibly, they will again be the force to reckon with ( which they were not too long ago ) in Indian automobile market

Re: Which car wowed you at the Auto Expo 2016?

I agree Nexon will be a good product, feature and VFM wise. But i still can see the Indica silhouette with body claddings. Why can't TATA think beyond that design.

The Hexa now looks aggressive and sure to put up a tough fight.
