Hope the issue is some else people would hop to other manufacturers after getting tired waiting for their cars.

Currently the wait is running over 5 months for Baleno as per my RM. Not sure how they'll cope up once the Brezza is launched. Sad!

The on-going agitation in Rohtak and its surrounding areas has adversely affected the supply of certain components to Maruti Suzuki's plants in Manesar and Grurgaon. This has resulted in the Indian manufacturer temporarily suspending operations at both plants. starting the second-half of Saturday, February 20, 2016.

As of now, the company is trying to source the required components from different suppliers and has stated that normal operations will resume once the supply of components is restored. There has been no further comment from the company's side regarding how long it will take before the issue is resolved especially since it could potentially be a difficult task to source the same volumes from other locations. The combined output from both plants is roughly 5,000 units a day.

This less than fortuitous news comes in at a time when the car making giant is already struggling to keep up with the huge demand of its recently launched*Maruti Suzuki Baleno. As a result, Maruti will be hoping to resolve this issue as quickly as possible especially as they would also be looking to start building inventory for the*Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The subcompact SUV generated a substantial amount of interest after its global unveil at Auto Expo 2016 and as a result is also expected to generate a lot of demand upon its launch.

According to a news report in Live Mint, chairman RC Bhargava says the Gujarat plant will be commissioned in another year or so. Their existing plants at Gurgaon and Manesar are already running at full capacity.

Maruti Suzuki has issued a statement stating that it has resumed production of vehicles at its two facilities starting Tuesday, February 23 (second half). The supply of components has started gradually.

Leopard enters Maruti Suzuki plant, rescue operation underway.

A leopard has entered a Maruti Suzuki plant in Manesar. While the police and forest officials have begun the rescue operation, the morning shift workers have been asked to not enter the complex

The leopard was most recently spotted near the engine room of the factory. The officials are taking leads from CCTV monitoring to spot the leopard.
The morning shift has been scrapped and the staff members have been asked to not enter the complex. Around 2,000 workers have gathered outside the complex waiting for their shift to begin.

The leopard has not yet been taken out of the plant. It has been found hiding in the plant's engine department. Looks like an early Diwali "partial work" mode for most of the workers

Two iron cages have been kept with goats as bait to draw the animal out of the plant's engine department. "The leopard is hiding behind a machine which is used for assembling car engines. It is difficult to move the machine," Wild Life Conservator Vinod Kumar told PTI.

Firecrackers were also thrown in an attempt to force the animal to run out of its hideout.

Looks like people who are handling the situation is clueless about some basic things. He is hiding inside engine department, means he like horses. They should keep horse as a bait instead of goat.

On a serious note that poor chap may begin having a panic attack if they use firecrackers.

Leopards are not that dangerous. I have seen forest department folks handle them (wild ones) literally in Bengaluru. They can try to tranquilize the animal. Poor goats.

According to the sources,the leopard will be taken for a medical examination and then will be released into the wild.
