hey guys
i am just planning to buy a new innova g4.
Was just going through the prices and came to know that
for the g4 model rto tax for company car is 20k only
whereas in case of individual is roughly 70k
why the difference if anyone can put in some light.

I think that the rto tax is yearly but the individual is one time.....Please correct me if I am wrong..

We were considering an Innova too some time ago but for the 8 seater the RTO tax is per year and that too, i think you get the yellow/taxi no. plates
The 7 seater G4 has a tax of around 1.5L if i am not mistaken if bought on company reg.

Personal/non-commercial buyers are charged LTT as a one-time payment. All other buyers categories are charged periodic road-tax, and without payment of which, the vehicle will be seized.

you are absolutely right, LBM. Life time tax is only for individuals. companies can opt to pay LTT for their cars, which is absolutely high, which is why they prefer yearly taxes.
