Posting details of another auction taking place. Thanks to Naveen Dagar for sharing!

The MSTC link i don't think will work directly, We will have to search the auction number and then get the details, Possibility of getting the auction number? I Am very interested since i already have a firm registered on MSTC and i am looking around to buy the upgrade from the jetta.

Any links to such auctions? I hear that there are some steal deals in such auctions. Although I am looking for cars like the Cruze, Jetta, Laura types.

Its more of advertisement on local newspapers for banks. The way it works is, they will have auction every month where minimum price is fixed. You have minimum increment for each bid and its not an e-auction. They generally do not reduce the price for 6 months if unsold.

I know of atleast one Mini and a Porche up for grabs in bangalore with sbi. For the mini, price quoted is 36 lakh.

I have been looking for a 207, and found one listed in Karnataka govt auction. But looks like one has to go through channels. Any one have any contacts with listed agencies who can bid on these ? Any help appreicated

I just received a WhatsApp forward mentioning that Mahindra Chakan and Nashik plants are auctioning vehicles at low prices. I'm not sure if the news is genuine or not but since I couldn't find a thread related to it, I'm sharing the file I received.

How can one take part in this or bid? Where can we get more details?

I really doubt this! Why would Mahindra auction XUV300? While i can understand cars like Nuvosport and even a few commercial vehicles that have been discontinued, I cannot believe Mahindra needs to auction the newer cars.

How is the car transferred to the buyer's name in bank auctions if the buyer is from different state? Basically what I am asking is that if I participate in a bank's car auction in different state and I end up winning it then how can I get the car transferred to my name?
I am very much confused and unfortunately internet also doesn't have any concrete info regarding this.

May be a test vehicle that is in decent enough condition to not be scrapped ? Only a check of the vehicle can tell us

(I know it's a 3 year old post)

I haven't tried anythink like that, but I presume once you win the bid the bank transfers the car in your name. Will give you NOC of loan(there are 2 forms) and some sale letter as the car is hypothecated to bank so bank is the owner. Then the usual transfer process of car to your name through RTO and after that NOC for road tax.
