Yes i agree with you one of the best design i have seen in person. Was lucky to have driven the very same car and here are some pics i took. ![]() ![]() ![]() I also love the Abarth alloy design ![]() I have these on my GT TSI. These are stock GTI alloys and are classy IMHO. ![]() |

| ![]() ![]() The JTPs. Simple by design. The cars' character and wheel design in perfect matching. Might not win as a standalone design but as a package a winner. I also have the same opinion on the Abarth Punto. But a great design by itself. ![]() |

| ![]() The 17 inchers on the previous gen VR6 Superb 3.6 FSI. Very understated and meaty. Rare car, rarer alloy design (this design came on only the 1st few units of the 3.6 variant,i.e.2009-10 model year. 2011 onwards they changed the wheels to snazzier new age designs) Last edited by octane1002 : 8th April 2020 at 22:44. |

| ![]() Not really an alloy enthusiast. In the sense, I wouldn't splurge on aftermarket alloys, at the same time from an aesthetic POV would prefer alloys over zip tied wheel covers. In the present market, any car with a diamond cut alloy looks awesome in motion. But the remarkable ones that stand out for me in the Indian market are of two discontinued models OHC vtec model. Has a good late 90s vibe to it. Love the brushed aluminium (?) finish. ![]() The concave, deep dish design of the E60 5 series. Seen here is BHPian @over.drive 's. Actually it kinda feels small today, compared to the newer BMW designs. But still, those alloys in a powersliding white/Monaco blue 530d. Uff... ![]() In international markets, my favourite would be the 5 spoke ones of LS460 and the petal design of the latest Golf. |

| ![]() I was wondering if anyone thought about steel wheels since majority of cars bought by general public are lower varients which either have pressed wheels or hub caps. Cars like Alto, WagonR, etc. I thought Chevrolet Beat had nice pressed wheels on lower varients and so did some later varients of Tata Sumo and Aria. As far as hub cabs are concerned, Chevrolet had nice ones for Tavera and more recently Renault has nice wheel caps for Kwid Climber, they appear like alloy wheels and the ones on Triber too. Does anyone else has also noticed this, would love to hear.. |

| ![]() Never been a fan of 2 tone alloy wheels which all newer cars seem to have. Below 20 lakhs It was Honda City Gen1 which had quite taste full design. Even Gen2(IIRC Dolphin shape) had wonderful alloy wheels too. If I had to choose, I would go for Gen1 because of the understated class and elegance. P.S. Image copyright to respective owners. |

Never did make out a difference. This was the image. ![]() This is BHPian cogwheel's Abarth. Attachment 1991961 I personally think that the design is exactly the same. Am I missing something here? I only think they had had different wheel sizes to suit different markets. Last edited by Arjun Reddy : 11th April 2020 at 08:44. | |
