Bosch announces incubation program for auto-tech startups

Bosch India is inviting applications from techpreneurs in the country for its accelerator program - INQBAATE 2017. Startups working in automotive e-commerce or mobility services domains are eligible to apply for this program.

INQBAATE is a 'no equity accelerator program' through which, Bosch India provides various facilities and resources to budding automotive startups in the country and helps them flourish in a way that they in-turn, benefit Bosch's core businesses. Any entrepreneur, either with a registered company or even with just a startup idea, can apply for the program through the company's official website.

Bosch will then shortlist a few startups for the program and will provide them with various incubation facilities, including office space, experienced mentors, business model support and honorary financial aid. The startup will also get a certificate of association with Bosch.

Under the INQBAATE program last year, Bosch had incubated two startups - ClicServe, a consumer app-based startup for addressing post purchase needs of automobiles, electronics, etc. and Gobumpr, a web-based company that operates in the automotive service sphere.

This is the second batch that has been called up. In the initial batch, 15 teams were shortlisted and 2 out of those have an oppurtunity to work with the parent company in Germany. The prospects on getting through looks good here but the competition seems to be tough.
