Thanks for the price list. Is increase of 30k just for cosmetic paint job on roof justified?

That + diamond cut alloys and new seat fabrics

Still no SX(O) variant in petrol 1.6

Got the on-road price list in bangalore, for the 2017 models.

The Diesel SX is 15.94 & a gap for the SX plus Dual tone which comes in at 17.68.

The Petrol E-plus is at 12.23 lakh and then there is a huge 3 lakh gap to the next model which is SX plus at 15.26.
wonder why they don't have the SX to plug this gap.

That's like 15 variants of ONE car. Damn, what a nightmare to be shortlisting one. :Frustrati

I guess they decided on the lowest (for starting at just x ads) and highest (for max gains) price points and then had to launch all these variants to plug the huge gap between them.

Did anyone tried taking quote to fit new infotainment system from 2017 into 2016 car? A friend of mine has 2016 and he was asked to cough up Rs. 45,000 for that upgrade. He did not go for it. The service center guys told that the entire infotainment hardware needs to be replaced.

Few quirky things I noted:

1. Atleast on my phone, Android Auto won't connect if you're phone is locked. HU throws an error and that's it. You need to unlock it before connecting the wires
2. Google maps doesn't let you enter a destination if you're in the Auto mode. You can pick a place from recent places/ favourites only.

3. More a niggle. Gaana is not working with Android Auto since last weekend. I'm not sure what is wrong with what (HU or my phone) but it just throws an error saying Gaana is not available at the moment.

1) Activate smart lock in android settings the moment BT connects it works. Never faced issue with a locked phone not connecting to android auto.

2) That's a safety feature of android auto, you can type only when car is stationary or in P mode for everything else you have to use "ok google".

3) I have been using gaana since the day it launched AA support, actually used it even today morning. One thing to remember is that the gaana app should be running in phone background if you want AA to open the app. It works same with MD player, pocket cast.

Looks like it will be Q4 2017 announcement for a Q1 2018 release of the Facelift.

Exciting to see ACI confirm that micro hybrid tech will be included.

Has anyone physically seen the new updated Creta E+ CRDi as the showroom folks say its available with Steering controls and Roof rails. I doubt their claims because they seem to be a bit confused also they are having the older brochure of the car.

But as per the new brochure on the website it mentions as it doesnt come on the CRDi. A friend is on the verge of finalising it hence can anyone confirm this thanks in advance.

Hey everybody.
I too own a Hyundai Creta 1.6 VTVT Auto 2016. I have been keen on upgrading my 2016 HU to 2017 HU. But i am unable to find it anywhere in delhi who has the headunit. I dont even mind the price since it is on my mind and i wanna get my hands on it asap. If anybody could source me a 2017 HU with nav, carplay and android auto. That would be bonkers:)

you might as well go for a good HU in that case, why hyundai oem ..

The 2017's HU has slight hardware modifications on it to allow Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This HU is manufactured by a 3rd party company and sold directly to Hyundai Motors factory in Chennai. It is not available in India. I sourced mine from South Korea.
