2018 Audi A8 spotted testing in India - post moved to a new thread.

I may be in the minority, but I love the way it looks. It's got an understated elegance to the design, and I prefer it to the new 7. The S still comes out on top though.

You are not the minority my friend, I absolutely love the 8 on the A. I am only sad because they don’t offer the W12 anymore. If you remember what Statham drove on the Transporter series? Not even on the S versions. The V8 on the S8 offers as much power the W12 used to offer but having 12 cylinders under the hood is just something you wish for as your dream car!

Trust me, you are going to get blown away by the review below. Audi has really armed the A8 to the teeth with technology.

Spotted this A8 on Ghodbunder road at Tatvagyan Vidyapeeth Signal, (near Vihang hotel). The car was accompanied by the 2018 Q5. The cars were heading towards NH48. As I was on a 2-wheeler and the roads were crowded, could manage partial shots while waiting at the signal. Both the cars were not having any badges to identify the model/variant. A8 though had a Quattro badge at the rear. Even the hub caps were missing to mask the identity though the huge trademark AUDI grille is very much visible.

Does that mean that the new A8 will keep tilting to the side at every indian intersection where some biker or autowallah come and brake inches away from passing traffic?

Sorry but I am not a fan of such animated lights that too on something in this segment. Perhaps acceptable on lower models, they could have done better given the intended customer base and the otherwise wonderful interior. Might look different on the car though.
