Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelift versions of the AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 in India. The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC is priced at Rs. 75.20 lakh, while the GLA 45 4MATIC starts at Rs. 77.85 lakh. The respective ‘Aero Editions’ are priced at Rs. 77.69 lakh and Rs. 80.67 lakh (ex-showroom, India).



As part of the facelift, the new CLA 45 4MATIC gets a revised AMG-spec front bumper with louvered air intakes and a new front splitter in grey shade. It gets new LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs. Changes to the rear end include a new diffuser with four vertical elements and a new lip spoiler. The GLA 45 gets the same updates in addition to a roof-mounted spoiler and new 18-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels in a titanium grey finish. Inside, both the cars get man-made leather upholstery with red stitching. The instrument cluster also features minor changes.



The Aero Editions are offered with yellow decals on the side panels, diffuser, rear bumper and mirror housings. The aesthetic package also includes AMG sport stripes in matte graphite grey. Additionally, the AMG Night Package is available on select exterior paints.



Mercedes-Benz is also offering the GLA 45 4MATIC in a new 'designo MAGNO' exterior paint finish. It is basically a metallic colour in a matte finish.

The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and GLA 45 share the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine which delivers 375 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 475 Nm of torque @ 2,250-5,000 rpm. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and the 4MATIC four-wheel drive system is standard on both cars. Mercedes claims that the CLA 45 will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, while the GLA 45 takes 4.4 seconds. Top speed of both the cars is limited to 250 km/h.
