V6 Power Output

I doubt there is a power upgrade for the V6 engine. Though an older issue of Autocar India suggested that it may be upgraded to 240+ bhp the Thailand website of Honda states the output on the new V6 is 220 ps.

The output of the 2.4 is being upgraded mainly to stay close to the Toyota Camry which is in that range.

I doubt there will be a price hike, i dont see a reason why there should be.
The 2.4 accord cannot be 17-18 lakhs because the v6 is around that bracket. The only difference in the car is going to be rear taillights and other small facelifts. i see no logic for a price hike.

Tere mooh mein Ghee-Shakkar Sahil I too hope they don't increase the price by a substantial margin. But seeing the new CR-V's price I'm a little sceptical.

Honda made minor changes in the NHC and increased price by 30k. They made major changes to the CRV and jacked up the price by 2-3L. It is only logical that they should price the new Accord at least 1L higher for minor changes + power upgrade.

A price hike? Nay!

That'll make this car loose it's best seller tag.

Honda, I don't want that happening. Yes, the price tag should be kept the same. Otherwise, you've already lost a diehard fan.

Honda is probably thinking that if TOYOTA can price its camry at 18 and still have people standing in line, why not us.
