Masakazu Yoshimura to head Toyota Kirloskar Motor

Mr. Masakazu Yoshimura will be appointed as the Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) on January 22, 2019. He will replace Mr. Akito Tachibana.

Mr. Yoshimura has more than 25 years of experience in product planning, pricing as well as sales and marketing. Prior to his new role, he was the General Manager of Toyota Motor Corporation (East Asia & Oceania Division).

Mr. Akito Tachibana has been the Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. since April 2016. He has been with the company for nearly 30 years and has headed various departments including technical, purchase and quality assurance functions at TKM. Tachibana has also served Toyota in various roles in Thailand, Vietnam and the US.
