Here are some latest exclusive scoops on the all new Scorpio- |
@ram87pune - is there any latest reliable update? Is it still being pursued for 2021 launch?
Next Gen Mahindra Scorpio alongside Tata Harrier, spotted testing for the nth time.
This morning I spotted the vehicle near Guindy Kathipara flyover. I presume it to be the new Scorpio. The car had dual headlamp setup, unfortunately couldn't capture the front facia.
In person the car looked visibly big when compared to current generation.

the next-gen Scorpio will sport 17” alloys wrapped with 245/65 section rubber. Spy shots that surfaced previously also revealed that the new Scorpio will boast disc brakes all around.

I like the front profile and the sides from the C pillar onward. The rear is totally MUVish. But I can understand the need to make it into a proper 3-Seater with a usable 3rd row and hence the compromised rear from the C-Pillar onward. Can't wait to see this in flesh..
I happened to drive next to 3 Scorpio test mules in Chennai. I assume the three were the base, mid and top variants. I dirve a Xylo and by size proportions the Scorpio was equal if not standing a inch or two taller. The top end had bigger set of rubbers. The console of top end was MG Hector like with full digital instrument cluster. Unfortunately was not able to click any pictures due to traffic.

See the pictures in the above post, the interiors are pretty much similar to the Thar. Given that the Scorpio will be positioned below the XUV700, I sincerely doubt it will have a full digital instrument cluster. Just from seeing the outline of the Instrument Cluster Bezel, it pretty much looks same as the Thar.

Well, I wish it is similar to the Thar in mechanicals with 4WD and locking differential and limited gizmos. It will keep the price in check and I will be a happy buyer :Cheering:
Hello bhpians.
Just confirmed from my sources that the launch of the Scorpio is not happening this year and is pushed to around March-April 2022.
More images from Rushlane.com. Exposing the lit DRLs near the fog lamp areas with the garnish.

Lit DRLs near fog lamp
Camera for 360 degree view
Rear glass area looks too small, also the D-pillar might be huge or the rear quarter glass might be puny. This variant seems to be top variant gauging by the sharkfin antenna and the 360 degree cameras and has a regular sunroof, not panoramic.

Nice. The Sony audio system will be an option on the Scorpio as well. :thumbs up
We can see Dual zone AC, Sony immersive 3d sound, hill descend control, in built navigation etc. I wish there was a sunroof delete option.
