All information on the 2020 L R Defender leaked,
- Next-generation model will be offered with three different body styles

Due to be launched October this year, the first cab off the rank will be the Defender 110. The five-door model will be 4758mm long, 1916mm tall, 1999mm wide, and ride on a 3022mm wheelbase.
The 110 will be offered will be offered with the choice of five-, six- and seven-seat options.

It will be followed in March 2020 by the Defender 90. The three-door variant will be significantly shorter with an overall length of just 4323mm and a truncated 2587mm wheelbase. The 90 is 1927mm tall and 1999mm wide.
Despite its small dimensions, the 90 will be available with either five or six seats. From the car's length and an earlier leak of the interior, the six-seat Defender 90 will have three seats up front.

That is the saddest face I have seen in a while. Rest of the design is A+, but the face doesn't do justice, you can look boxy without being fugly.

I agree! The lines seemed to be penned by ‘Team Generic’ in LR, whose last contribution was the unfortunate LR Discovery :) (which was seemingly inspired by Tata Sumo Grande)

Agree with you, especially since the Wrangler and the G-wagen, both have retained their unmistakable identity, this one looks like a mimicry.

There was a time in the 1990s and 2000 s when I used to ogle the LR Defender in the Australian Outback. It was a dark, handsome, purposeful machine.
This one looks curvy and rounded and fat ... like a MUV... BhhhwwwAaagggghhhh....
I guess all good things have to come to an end .
Doesn't this Defender have an uncanny resemblance to the Yeti? Looks very unlike what the defender was.
Yet over time as always we will get used to this and people will be buying one if it is prices well and the base models have the full mechanical packages. Steel wheels and full mechanical package at an excellent price would make it eventually more desirable than a wrangler.
Now the specs. of the 2020 LR Defender leaked:
-The longer Defender 110 will have 291mm of ground clearance, a 38 degree approach angle and 40 degree departure angle, a 28 degree break over angle, and a maximum wading depth of 900mm.

- the Defender will offer a payload of 900kg and a braked-towing capacity up to 3720kg.

-Down back, the simple round lights of the old Defender have been replaced with flush-fitting LED units
-three body styles offered in the new Defender range: the 90, 110 and 130.
