Jeep's 7 seat 'Commander' interiors seen in the teaser:

Interiors seem better appointed, even though the base design is the same as the 2021 facelift. Brown seems to be the new luxury color:)
But is it me or the cabin width seems to be similar to the regular 5 seater Compass? It will then continue to be cramped.:Frustrati
3rd row leg room also doesnt look too high. Let us hope atleast the luggage space with all rows up is at an Alcazar level, and not Safari level!

Current compass is ridiculously overpriced for what it offers. The 7 seater variant will also be overpriced based on Jeep's pricing history. This may add few hundreds to their monthly sales, that's all. Not going to be game changer in that segment.

Is this the Commander? Looks quite big and wide in this one. Note how it looks a bit under-tyred. Also its size in comparison to the big pick up truck next to it. In other pics, it has not looked this big. clap:
Key question here is that whether Jeep going to widen the track for the Commander? Or it will be just an extended Compass?
Pricing will depend on that. I think +2 lakhs for the former, and +4-5 lakhs for the latter, if compared variant to variant. Jeep can also pull off a Alcazar, having loaded variants only.
Jeep Meridian spied again in India:
Quote:
The Meridian will feature the 2-litre MultiJet from the Compass but in a higher state of tune of around 200hp. The sole transmission available will be the 9-speed automatic transmission.
What’s new is that the engine will feature a 48V mild-hybrid technology for better mileage and emissions.
The Meridian will get an option of 7 seats or 6 seats with captain chairs in the middle. |

I disagree. What car at 32l can match its extensive feature list, driving dynamics and looks?

For Latin American Market.
Interestingly, the offset between the rear wheel and the wheel-well continues.
What I find heartening is FCA's staying power in our market with the Jeep brand especially with impactful upgrades and the willingness and interest to launch new products.
Any firm indication of launch in India? The earlier reports said mid-2022 but why test so extensively in India now if the launch is 9-10 months away ...
