A friend of mine is looking to purchase a new A6. I was just wondering if anyone has any inputs on the current generation model (which was launched in 2019) - whether its faced any particular recurring problems etc.

He started his budget from Camry so really doesn’t want to stretch beyond A6 territory to what the 5 or E are retailing at.

Also, any specific inputs on Audi service in Mumbai? Specially Audi South?

IMO The new A6 should have average reliability for its segment. Would advise getting maximum extended warranty.
Regarding service, I haven't had any good advisors over 9 years of owning an Audi, but one chap at Audi Kalina was relatively decent to deal with : Hemant

Once out of warranty there are a few good independent workshops that would be better than Audi A.S.S.
