Earlier this month, the first images of the next-generation Skoda Octavia had surfaced online. The latest leaked image reveals the new Octavia RS.



The next generation Octavia RS gets a blacked grille with twin-pod LED headlights. The new design front bumper has a black splitter and LED fog lamps. The car has a black roof, black inserts on the side skirts and black alloy wheels as well as red brake calipers.

On the inside, the Octavia RS is expected to get black upholstery, multi-function steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment head unit.

Reports suggest that the new model could use an updated 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Skoda’s cars really are eye-candy types. Their design with Octi’s atleast haven’t gone wrong anywhere, anytime. I love the current gens split headlamp design too.

I was never a fan of the Facelifted 3rd Gen vRS but after having seen it almost everyday for more than 2 years, I can say it has started to grow on me.

The new one looks too similar to the Superb.

The front end looks sporty.
The air dam design has some kind of resemblance to that of M cars' much like the shoulder line resemblance of cars from many brands to that of BMWs.

You're not alone. The front grille looks quite BMW-ish and the headlamps look very Audi-ish. There's some CLA resemblance in the sloping rear end if you look for it. But hey, I'm not complaining.
