Endeavour Sport colour options:

Looks great and enhances the butch look. Ford should have gone the complete distance and added the twin turbo engines to this version.

Not sure what's so "sporty" about blacking the car out, and charging a lac more for it!! Seriously, Ford?!

Ford should have sneaked it into the showroom and website instead of launching'. 20,000inr job is now charged at 65,000inr. Well done Ford!

You echoed my thoughts exactly.

Sure the new grille looks nice. Yes, the blacked out trim does make it look more 'sporty'. But I could've gotten done all those things aftermarket! Most, just in 3M, or even with plasti-dip in my own garage.

I hate it when manufacturers slap on a 'Sport' badge on their cars with nothing to show for it. Is it retuned to deliver more horses, more torque? Is the TCU tuning any different? Does it have a different intake? A bigger turbo? No? Then WHAT exactly is the 'Sport' part of the Endeavour Sport?

My local garage 'chacha' can turn any Endeavour into a 'sport', going by Ford's definition of it. Might as well do that and save some coin for actual performance upgrades. I'll just write on 'Sport' with a Sharpie later.

Mod Note : Please do NOT use acronyms (e.g. ANHC, T-Fort, ANHV, Endy) when referring to cars. You are ONLY permitted to use the full Make & Model name for cars. This will make our content useful, searchable & easy-to-understand for experts & newbies alike.

Any further usage of acronyms will invite Moderator action on your account.

Thanks!

Disappointing move by Ford.

- Firstly, some people did have hopes that this variant could bring the 2.0 biturbo. Ford comfortably brushed that one aside

- Secondly, even after it was formally announced that the sport edition doesn't have the better engine, I had high hopes they would go the TATA Harrier Dark edition way and offer black interiors with silver inserts to match the exteriors.

- However, Ford once again disappointed on this front. It's only the exteriors which set this variant apart. It's as good as another paint option to me. Not worthy of being called a sport variant in any manner. Maybe a dark variant at best, but again, the beige interiors just don't do justice.

It couldn't get cheekier than this! Full fledged video reviews for 4 items being blacked out! What is this world coming to :Frustrati

The variant looks good. But they should have called it the Black edition or something else instead of Sport.

Respect to TATA for distinguishing their product based on colors by naming it like HARRIER DARK EDITION etc.

So much fuss created by Ford, I am unable to understand the reason,*Why? Does this variant even need so much media attention that they are giving this car to people to make review videos. Even the people doing reviews are finding it hard to justify the fact that it requires a separate review. There is no change in the interiors, engine and performance is the same, but adding a black grill and painting the chrome stuff makes it a 'Sports' edition. Wow!

The auto sector is already facing the heat of the COVID related slowdown, there will be soon some new rivals to challenge the numbers that ford are selling and instead of pushing the Bi-Turbo and additional features, Ford increases the price with Sports edition. Keep it up Ford India!*

Current price of the 4x4 AT Titanium + Sports Endeavour in Mumbai.

43.30 lakhs (Individual)
45.08 lakhs (Corporate).

This includes 4 years zero dep. insurance and 5 years warranty from Ford, upto 1 lakh kilometres.

While model is justified-afterall black/night editions are in trend, price isn't. Black leather seats and interiors would have been complete though. 30K would have been perfect. Those alloys look bad and will look worse when old/dirty.

This "all black" look is sweet in the pictures and when the car is new. But these don't age well & need a lot of maintenance. As it gets dusty by the afternoon everyday, it won't look nice, and neither will the rims unless your car wash guy cleans it perfectly (good luck with that).

Most of all, all-black SUVs simply don't look gangster without dark tinted glasses. The entire personality vanishes without sunfilm.

Thanks, but I'll take the regular Endeavour over this anyday. Will save the all-black look for a sporty hatchback or sedan.

Oh no ! How will they introduce a "midnight" or "dark (k)night" version later ? This should have been a normal one with "stylish sporty graphics" to qualify as a sport model :D

Such a rookie thing launching a black edition with beige interiors in an SUV meant to be used on dirty, muddy trails:deadhorse

And what new is Ford offering anyway. IIRC the black was already available as a colour before. Most dealers did offer "dechroming" or painting the trims black too. So what's the change? Black alloys? I don't even like their design and even for that you could very easily paint them black or powder coat it outside.

Pointless "edition" only to try and stay in the news, nothing else.
