Re: MG launches personalized aftersales packages for Gloster

What does "Labour Free services" mean? Does it mean 3 services which are completely free including labour charges or 3 services with labour charges waived off?

What are the intervals of these first 3 services? It it's once a year, then it makes sense as a customer, but if it's 1 month + 6 months and 6 months again (Like the Hector), then they're nothing more than 3 free useless inspections during the first year of ownership.

Hector has a 10000 km/1 year service interval. I think the labour free part will be similar to what's there for the Hector. It is a great deal IMO.

Quoting from TBHP's official review-

Quote:
First service visit is at 1,000 km / 1 month (just a checkup), second at 5,000 km / 6 months and third at 10,000 km / 12 months. Subsequent services every 10,000 km / 12 months. The initial five services are labour free

I don't see anyone not availing the 5 years warranty + RSA option, especially if it's more or less free ( 50k free credit).

What this will do is make people choose more add ons, to utilise their "free 50k credit", thereby exceeding their balance and paying an additional amount for accessories they liked, but which they may not have gone for if this credit scheme wasn't available.

Smart marketing.

MG and Kia are definitely upping the marketing quotient in our country. Can't believe the Sonet is actually tied for 1st place with the Brezza.
