Kia seems to be gearing up to launch a limited edition Seltos to commemorate the 1-year anniversary of its launch in India.



The report suggests that the Seltos Anniversary Edition will be based on the HTX trim. It gets new front and rear bumpers with orange accents, new side skirts and black 17-inch alloy wheels. The SUV also gets an orange '1st Anniversary Edition' badge on the tailgate.



The features offered in the Seltos Anniversary Edition will be identical to what you get in the regular HTX variant. The kit will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, UVO Connect features, wireless charger, air purifier, ambient lighting, sunroof, LED headlights, tail lights and fog lamps. The interior is likely to feature an all-black theme with black leatherette seats.



Under the bonnet, the Anniversary Edition will get a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. While the petrol engine will come paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT, the diesel will get a 6-speed manual transmission.

Black wheels - GOOD; Wish they had an all black anniversary edition.
I find the red/orange accents too cheesy.

Seltos looks smashing in black colour with black alloys,which is my favourite.But,I didn't red accents on rear diffuser,hubcaps and on fog lights.

Kia could have blackened the front grille along with rear tailgate,which would be perfect as an anniversary edition.

Hard pressed to say which is worse: these strange orange accents (will look absolutely terrible on red) or the gaudy and extremely tacky chrome garnishing that is so in-vogue in India for past few years.

I think they ought to bring a panoramic sunroof soon to compete with Hyundai Creta. That is one feature which is the flavour of the season these days.

The anniversary edition is only available in all black, steel silver with black roof, gravity grey with black roof and pearl white with black roof.

The Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition, which was leaked earlier this month, has been listed on the website. It commemorates the model's 1-year anniversary in India.



The SUV comes with silver front and rear skid plates, orange accents on the fog lamp pods, orange accents on the rear bumper, silver inserts on the side sills with orange accents and 'SELTOS' branding, and 17-inch Raven Black alloy wheels. On the inside, it comes with black leatherette seats.

Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition launched at 13.75 lakh

Kia has launched the Seltos Anniversary Edition to commemorate the 1-year anniversary of the model in India. Production will be limited to 6,000 units and prices start Rs. 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom).



The Seltos Anniversary Edition is based on the HTX trim. It comes with a 1st Anniversary Edition badge, a new skid plate with silver diffuser fins, orange fog lamp bezel and 17-inch Raven Black alloy wheels. The exterior updates have increased the overall length of the vehicle by 60 mm. On the inside, the SUV gets an all-black interior with Raven Black leatherette seats that have an honeycomb pattern.



The Seltos Anniversary Edition is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. While the petrol engine comes paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT, the diesel gets a 6-speed manual transmission only.
