In 2007, I bought a 2003 model year CRV for USD 13K and in 2009, I sold it for USD 13.5K. Despite after running it for close to 20K miles.

Thanks, no it's an ambassador Grand isuzu diesel. Used to come with those headlights on this model. Bought it as is that was modded by the previous owner. Sold now.

An other one to this list is the Prado V6 petrol which were listed for 4 - 6 lakhs few years back but now command a premium of 11 - 12 lakhs

Some of the pre-worshipped and/or modified cars which are even otherwise exclusive like - Octavia vRS, Abarth Punto, Gypsy, MM Classics, Enfield, etc are available for appreciated value. In the next few years, I am sure the value of these cars are only going to increase for their sheer exclusivity and would have the same fate as that of the RX100s. I hope to continue to own my Abarth Punto for as long as I can and see the market reality once I decide to sell in the years to come.
