Looks quite eye-catching. Seems to have a decent 'features list' as well - and I think they will price it well too. Methinks Renault India will definitely see an uptick in their sales - and if they would only put that turbo and CVT on the Triber without much delay, they would zoom up the charts for sure. We definitely need more competition.:thumbs up

A quick comparo of the twin brothers.

I think the switch above the rotary drive mode dial is to control the internal ambient/mood lights.

From the initial pics, I always felt Kiger to be a small car than the other cars from this segment. I started realizing its size only after going through some videos.

Did a quick comparison and is really impressed with the way it is faring with others. Hope Renault is pricing it well to heat up this segment.

Are there more pictures of the instrument consoles in any of the reviews or images.

It does not look like there is a Tachometer as it looks like the Heat gauge on the left and the Fuel Gauge on the right.

The purpose of providing an all digital instrument cluster is to provide more information than a conventional analog unit. It would've been laughable if Renault failed to add a tachometer to it. Must say the cluster theme looks a lot better than the Magnite's.

Screengrabs from Autocar India video-

If the Kiger is going to be priced at 5.49 lakh for the base version as per an earlier post, won't those who plan to buy the Kwid Climber upgrade to this?

I wonder if increased boot size will come at the cost of rear seat legroom.

It looks like Renault has cut a few functional features in Kiger compared to Magnite. There is no mention of VDC, 360 camera, hill assist, and TPMS in Kiger. Another noticeable difference is Kiger doesn’t come with side cladding while Magnite comes with proper cladding. What we see in Kiger is merely a black sticker.

There might be a difference in Sonet's height quoted here. It quotes as 3,995 mm L x 1,790 mm W x 1,610-1,642 mm H. Though the 1610 might be without the roof rails. I leave it up to the experts to confirm this.

Like most here, I was floored too by Kiger to a point of preferring it over Magnite. But, 3 days on, I'm beginning to like clean straight lines of Magnite over somewhat over-styled Kiger. Just wish, if Magnite came with instrument cluster and door-pads of Kiger.

Demo/Test drive cars are now reaching Renault dealers, saw one on Youtube

Wonder if people think the same way when looking at BMW, Audi, Lexus and the likes....
And isn't grill design supposed to be part of brand identity nowadays?

Definately this doesn't look like a beefed up Kwid to me clap:

Real road presence looks promising and i wonder what will be the headlights in base Variant instead of those LEDs
