VW India now available on WhatsApp for Business

Volkswagen India is now on WhatsApp for Business. Customers will be able to reach out to the company on - +91 84339 50909.

Using this service, customers will be able to get information on the brand's current and upcoming products, book a test drive or service appointment, inquire about after-sales service, find the nearest dealership or service workshop or reach out to roadside assistance or customer care.

The Volkswagen WhatsApp chatbot is equipped with Natural Language Processing (NLP), an AI based tool, where users can type in their queries and the bot will answer them.

The WhatsApp for Business service has been launched under Volkswagen's Sarvottam 2.0 initiative.

Just tried it out. Seems like a simple rule-based option selection bot, but of course everyone likes to advertise their bots with AI,NLP etc..

Interestingly it is still giving me an option to get details & test drive of the T-Roc, while the news reports claim that it is sold out (even the new lot that is expected to be imported). Have registered my interest for a test drive of the T-Roc, let's see what happens!

This is a good option for those looking to get basic details on VW cars.
