Renault offers R.E.L.I.V.E scrapping scheme through its dealers

Renault has launched R.E.L.I.V.E - a vehicle scrapping program in India. This program has been formed in partnership with CERO Recycling - a joint venture between Mahindra Intertrade Ltd. and MSTC - a Government of India enterprise. It is India’s first organised scrap vehicle recycling company.

Renault India has rolled out the program for its customers in six locations currently, including Delhi & NCR, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. Interested customers can bring their old / end of life vehicles of any brand to Renault’s authorised dealerships. They will get a scrap valuation quote after evaluation of the vehicles, along with an additional guaranteed scrap benefit over the existing monthly offers on Renault’s products including Kwid, Triber and Duster.

Renault India dealerships along with CERO Recycling will be handling the entire process from vehicle evaluation to official de-registration at the RTO and handing over the official certificate of deposit / destruction of old vehicles to customers.

Renault will be offering this service to prospects willing to have their old two-wheelers scrapped as well. Owners of scrapped two-wheelers can avail of a 7.99% rate of interest from Renault Finance on the purchase of new Renault products.

Re: Renault offers R.E.L.I.V.E scrapping scheme through its dealers

A good move by Renault India. Customers won't have to deal with the process on their own. But it is to be seen how much benefit is given to customers who scrap their old vehicles. I am impressed that they have included 2W also as quite a few Kwid buyers mught be upgrading to 4W from 2W.
