Land Rover has launched the most potent version of its flagship SUV, the Range Rover Sport SVR, in India. Prices start from Rs. 2.19 crore (ex-showroom).



The Range Rover Sport SVR gets a distinct exterior. It has a sporty front bumper with large vents designed to improve brake cooling. The SUV gets body-coloured detailing at the rear and quad exhausts.



On the inside, the SVR comes with lightweight SVR Performance seats finished in perforated Windsor leather. The seatbacks are finished in satin black and have an embossed SVR logo on the headrests. Besides the myriad of features and touchscreens, the SVR comes equipped with a 19-speaker, 825 W Meridian audio system.



Under the bonnet is a 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 engine that delivers 567 BHP and 700 Nm. As a result, the SUV is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in a claimed 4.5 seconds.



The Range Rover Sport SVR features numerous chassis improvements over the standard car. The suspension has been tuned to control pitch under acceleration and braking. The carmaker also claims improved turn-in, mid-corner grip and body control.

the interior should have more carbon and aluminium/metals. Bentley Continental GT Speed interior is a good inspiration.

Seems to be a much better option than G63 AMG and it’s even faster, looks as butch and feels more practical. And is much cheaper.

Except for similarities on the prices, this can't come any close to G. I doubt if any G customers will even look at this. It's too similar to the regular sports that comes at half the price, and this is a particularly important point in this segment.

It can be an alternate to RS Q8 probably but then Audi is more like a cheaper Urus. Huge depreciation is written on this, the moment it comes out of the showroom.
