The stiff suspension is not a flaw, thats what gives the Swift its driver-oriented behavior that everyone loves

abhay, we are all happy that you are loving your swift now, Lol. Now if you could just tell us what is exactly so technical about this loving your swift thing that you decided to post it here in the Technical Stuff section?

And just in case you were going to ask me where it should have been posted I would say in one of your existing swift threads probably. In fact you should have started a long term ownership report on your swift quite sometime back and put all that you posted under various threads in that one single thread. Would have been easy to find for you as well as for others in future.

EDIT: Since I thought you should not have opened a new thread for this one I decided to search for one of your own threads to merge this one with. I realized,

1. You really have enough material scattered through the forum to have made into a nice owner's long term review.
2. Most of your posts are in the Technical Stuff section! Even this thread was (I had to move it here). Why do not you explore other sections as well? It will help us as well if you catalog your posts properly.

Lastly, if you would rather have the "I am now loving my swift" thread merged to some other thread instead of this one (it should be a better fit than this thread) please feel free to PM me.

what do i like most about my car while driving?

the sheer pulling power.
the sitting on a 'machan' feel.
switch to 4x4 and........ oh what traction!
driving the safari is like getting an androgen shot.

The best thing I like about my car is that it lets me do the office commute at 100kmph, yet gives me 13-14kmpl

Nice thread.

I love the way the seats welcome me and fit snug around me when I drop in.
I love the "nothing can happen to you" secure feel once I am inside.
I love the bright xenon lamps lighting up the road when driving at night.
I love the sunroof specially when rain drops form different patterns on it.
I love the cruise control feature on long steady drives.
I love the 3 spoke steering and the way it loads up with speed.
I love the insane acceleration when I floor it.
I love the brakes when I have to stop in a hurry.

On my Alto Vx1.1: It was a bomb for its weight. The engine was torquey and free revving till redline. I was one of the few owners who felt that the gearbox was a joy to use (as opposed to the complaints about spongy gearbox on the 1.1L Suzuki engine). Result - It was able to accelerate like a rocket. I remember dragging once with a Octavia 1.9 TDI until we reached 100kmph... And then of course the Octy pulled away clean. I thought the Alto was the best until...

On my Baleno: Well, I had fit the universal K&N racing filter with a short intake arm. The intake arm would resonate at ~3200rpm. And, like most of you appreciate, the Baleno with G16B was a rocket anyways. I have had many un-official drags on the GQ with VTecs, Octavias etc. The acceleration is a blast until 130kmph, when I begin to ease off my right foot. Yes. The Baleno is not sure-footed beyond that. I have gone up to 160kmph - but, that was on a clean stretch with no souls seen till horizon. Then I bought the CEDIA...

On my CEDIA: I have done up to 160kmph. There is a critical difference in the way the CEDIA takes off when you push the accelerator. For one, the accelerator pedal has a very good modulation available, that is linear too. [While the Baleno's blast comes off within the first 50% stroke of the pedal, the CEDIA's acceleration is finely controllable to the full stroke]. And the way the chassis handles high speed cruising is a clear league above my earlier Baleno.

Sum it up... I love the acceleration offered by my cars. My choice of cars have been based on the Engine-Chassis mass combination, and of course, I get a car for the Engines I choose.

I love themagnificent view from my wagonR, the silky smooth drive on highways at 80 Kmph. It is kike sailing. I still remember with thrill my drives from Karimnagar to Hyderabad and from Srisailam to Hyderabad.

2 Things that I like in my Accent CRDi are
1. A full tank fuel bill @ Rs.1400-1450
2. Torque that kicks in when the turbo is alive at 1800 to 2000 rpm.

The best thing I like about my car is the feeling when I accelerate in 3rd gear and slot into 4th after entering the highway - with the A/C off of course

Maruti 800:
Just love the way it squeezes past traffic. Quite peppy for city driving (<60Kmph)
Also ofcourse the 'near take off experience' on uneven highways
After driving the below car, the road seems so much bigger !!

FIAT Adventure 1.6:
Very good ride. Feels like driving a much more expensive car!!
Extremely stable and confidence inspiring.
More than enough power (atleast for me)
