Query on nullification of NoC

Dear BHP-ians,
Few years ago, I moved to Hyderabad from Bengaluru and took NoC from Bangalore RTO to move my car from KA to AP (TS now). In HYD, I paid the corresponding road tax on my car again

but moved to BLR again without getting it registered in AP(TS).
It so turned out, I had to return to KA within even less than a year.

As of today, if I do a query on Vahan site, it shows my KA registered car as " "noC issued" status. My car's RC is due for renewal soon which I intend to extend
My query:
1. Do I need to cancel that NoC before renewal of RC? Is it even possible?
2. How do I go about for renewal so that NoC does not become an issue? I have paid road tax in both the states and never claimed refund in KA.
