Well there are clearly 2 kinds of animals. Car lovers and SUV lovers ! What is your personal preference, what do you drive now and why ? Would your next vehicle be a car or an SUV ?

an suv that behaves like a car:D

I drive a car right now mainly for reasons of practicality and cost. Ideally would like to have both for different purposes though. A car for daily drives and something like a classic LR for weekend fun

There are very few option available for SUV's in India.
Personally I would like the combination of both (Subaru Forester).

My perch in my SUV is over 3 feet from ground zero that gives me a panaromic view ahead and I look down upon all the 'chota-mota' cars including the mercs & bmws with disdain.

The mean road prescence, the sheer torque of a big diesel, the knowledge and feel that you can take it anywhere and FE are the reasons that once again my next 4 wheel contraption would be a SUV..:p

Definitely a SUV for my daily haul. On weekends however, its a different story altogether - I take the Fiesta out & burn some rubber on the way back from the club or a pub. Its hard beating the adrenalin rush of the wheelspin & zooming past the other cars on the road

I would prefer a SUV as my next vehicle. Just love it for the road presence it exudes.

Same here. Hond CRV comes very close.

In India, definitely an SUV. It insulates you from the roads.

I love cars. SUVs to me are for the women folk. :) Call it my US hangover if you will and sorry if I offended anyone.

Hangovers are temporary. They are easily cured - 2 days in Bangalore and 2 hangovers later I can vouch for that.

Perfect remedy, I'd say. A few trysts with the Sumos and Qualises with their bull bars and cabs screaming down your backside, and one would think again. I am.

Envy Sumit (Godfather) at times.. bullying road maniacs with his truck. :Cheering:

Well a car has got a luxury element like some status symbol manners, ettiquetes.

Whereas a SUV driver is considered as a maniac, boistorous person.

But both serve same pupose of being pressed to extreme red line. :Cheering:
