Frank Torres appointed as Nissan India President

Nissan has announced the appointment of Frank Torres as the new President of the brand's India operations. He will take charge from April 1, 2022.

Torres replaces Sinan Ozkok, who will take up the role of Vice President for Marketing and Sales Transformation and Managing Director for Independent Markets in the Nissan AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania) region.

Torres will also hold the post of Region Divisional Vice President for Business Transformation in the AMIEO region. He will report to Guillaume Cartier, Nissan AMIEO Chairperson.

Frank Torres joined Nissan in 2007 as a Production Engineering Analyst. He later became the Managing Director for Nissan Motor Iberica. In 2021, he was appointed as the Regional Divisional Vice President for Business Transformation and Alliance.

So is this Rakesh Srivastava's new boss?

Nissan has done well in India over the last year or so. Magnite has definitely been a hit. Hope they get some of their nicer global models here
