Congrats on getting the Seltos and good to know that ride quality has improved in newer versions. BTW, which variant did you purchase?

The ride quality of the Seltos was one of the main concerns for me as my folks travel mostly in the rear seat but when my mom travelled in my close friend's Seltos (he also owns a GTX+ Diesel AT, 2021 version), she found the rear seat comfortable.

And, as per my dealer, I'm getting the updated version of Seltos, which is coming with improved suspension and I might expect my car to be delivered by this month most probably. The variant I booked is GTX+ Diesel AT in white colour and booked it more than a month ago.

We got the GTX+ Diesel AT. We saw everything from the City to Slavia, Taigun(which i found least value for money) to XL6. In the end only Seltos clicked all the boxes and seemed like the best buy. We have already driven it close to 2000 kms till date and honestly I don't like the stiff ride of my Endeavour after driving the Seltos

Re: 2022 Kia Seltos & Sonet launched in India

Due apologies if my post seems off-topic.

Nowadays whenever I get to see a tabular format I feel like I am looking at food menu card. Amazing mouth watering dishes and explanation on the left and then that pricing!

Its like,
Butter Chicken - WOW
Price - OMG.

Automotive menu card. Amazing mouth watering features & variants on the left and then the pricing!

Any CSUV / Sedan / SUV with variants - WOW
Price - OMG

I liked the design language of Seltos and Sonet when they were launched.
Same is true for many recent launches and their variants be it from Hyundai, Tata, Kia, Maruti and others.

It feels like going in for the main course and settling for a starter!

That's great! That 1.5 Diesel engine mated to 6 speed TC AT gearbox is a match made in heaven and gives good FE as well.

And, even I too was in the similar conundrum earlier this year(didn't consider the XL6 though) and I had booked the Taigun 1.0 Topline AT in Jan and cancelled it due to the abysmal FE of 10-11 Kmpl or below in city limits. Since our running is more or less than 2000 Kms per month, Diesel made sense.

Re: 2022 Kia Seltos & Sonet launched in India

Hi. I have a question - does the iMT get the sun/moon roof or is it only in MT? What is the mileage expected from Kia iMT?

You have correctly brought the true dilemma we potential buyers face.
