Mercedes-Benz E270 Cdi launched!!

Coming back from work to a Mercedes-Benz invite is always a pleasure. Auto Hangar is having the Mercedes E270 CDI on display next thursday, alongwith a wine&cheese painting thing.

Butttttttttttt the Merc E270CDI internationally pumps a HUGE 177bhp and we all know german diesels arent detuned before entering India, are they? Its got a 0 - 100 of 9.5 seconds and will smash the E240 where it hurts the most. Also, it exceeds the E240 by 12 more horses.

I think this move was necessiated by the C getting some added muscle in the shape of the C220CDI.

Will test and update

Just realised that the ML270 also has a 2.7 liter CDI engine.

Whos complaining when theres more power headed our way?

GTO,
It's an awesome car my dealer told me about it back in december, But what im sad about is why not the V6 280 CDI? More refined and supposed to have EU-4 standards,
but neways the 270CDI will make the buyers drool on it's diesel motor,
Man wish i'd go with ya but 2 cities apart

ML270CDI and E270CDI the same motors i guess!

BTW are they adding anything more to the car?? memory seats? panorama roof? anything at all besides the usual goodies except for the annoying fact that now the E class cars DONT HAVE A DAMN Cassate player!
but then the 4 zone a/c and the phone makes up for it
